Welcome to my homepage.
I am Katrin Kabun.

I’ve been related to knitting over ten years by now, of which last five years I’ve been dedicated on preserving Estonian native sheep and dignifing its wool usage and traditions linked to it.Hereby I would like to thank Gilleke Kopamees, who has been an outstanding companion to me on this journey. Also I am very grateful to my husband, who has supported me through these years and last but not least- my mother, who has self-denially taken care of my sheeps.

If you wish to learn more about Estonian native sheep, then you can visit Estonian Native Sheep Association’s homepage by clicking here.

On my page I’ll show you all the old handicraft techniques I have learned through these years (because wellknown loopknitting is quite new technique) and what kind of enjoyable, warm, in natural colours textiles it is possible to make out of the wool of Estonian native sheep. If you would like to have some of them, then choose “Products” from menu or just write me a letter.

 Thank You!
